Fall of 2019, we used this project to further embody these notions of faith by blindfolding four dancers, taking them to a remote location and asking them to move. The dancers used the exploration of the space as a gateway into the exposure of their own fears, and an experience of their own faith.
When given more than a moment with the idea, we come to recognize that faith is not merely a pious prerequisite or accidental byproduct of religion. Much more, faith instantiates the gratitude that can be found from the universally inescapable uncertainties of life.
